Legendary US ultra runner Scott Jurek shares his all time top 4 tips for long distance running and racing. Who is Scott Jurek? Read my previous blog post here.

My fave tips are at 3:35 and also at the end at 4:52. Those pieces of advice really resonated with me, this guy is seriously wise. I need to write them down on a small piece of card, laminate them and take them with me on the Cape Wrath Ultra this May!

This film is part of some unseen exclusive interview footage with Scott Jurek from his 2013 Eat & Run book launch in London. I found this recently in my files and it has never been published before. His advice is still very interesting and relevant today.

Do subscribe as there are 3 of these and the third one will be ready next week. Bear with, there is only one of me doing everything – filming, editing, writing, website-ing and social media-ing 🙂 I can manage one YouTube video a week at the moment. Filming doesn’t take that long, but it’s the editing process that takes longer. Not that you’d know to look at my films! I can’t wait until I’ve grow my business enough to get a freelance video editor involved so I can output more and better quality trail running films on my YouTube channel Wild Ginger Films.

If you fancy buying Scott’s book Eat & Run after watching this, then if you could do so via this link below that would be awesome as it gives me a few pennies without any impact on your pocket. Every little helps! Thank you.
