It was awesome to chat to the runners at Chippenham Longest Day 10k and film the race, it looked pretty traily too, with some lovely sections through the park and along the river, and a nice flat disused railway path over a bridge.

It’s held on the Wednesday nearest to the longest day every year, and everyone is welcome! There’s a great family and dog friendly atmosphere there with a fantastic drumming band and warm up to get everyone in the mood to race.

Loads of local running clubs turn out for this nice, flat (ish!) route through Wiltshire’s pretty town of Chippenham and they’re all rewarded with discounted beer from the Flying Monk pub at the end of the race, and huge snake sweeties and some very tasty, fruity bars from DB Max’s nutrition partner Pulsin.

Everyone I talked to was impressed by the organisation of DB Max, so I’m looking forward to filming their Melksham 10k race this Sunday too!
