Absolutely incredible day on the Aonach Eagach ridge filming the Glen Coe Skyline runners come across. This is the second scramble in this gruelling 52k race with 4.750m ascent, the first being Curved Ridge (scroll down for a recce film link). The Glencoe Skyline is the grand finale in the Skyline Scotland event at Kinlochleven in the Highlands.

Amazing to see Georgia Tindley, 1st lady, come across the ridge in 5th position! She endied up 8th overall, fantastic! Massive kudos to anyone who did this race, or even attempted it. It was great to see so many of you on the ridge. It’s more scrambling and hiking than running unless you are Kilian Jornet and the like!

I tried to do a live broadcast of the top 10 runners during the race but it was during the one hour of rain that we had! The signal wasn’t great and it was very difficult to hold the camera still in the wind and cold, but it’s very interesting what it was really like up there in real time watching the race.
