Thanks James for your excellent tips! James set up Centurion Running in 2010 providing some of the UK’s best 50 and 100 mile trail ultras along the North and South Downs Way in particular. He then started coaching in 2012.

He was also part of the GB 24 hour running team in 2016 and 2018. So James knows a thing or two about running a very long way for a very long time!

Here are his top 3 tips from his own hard won experience and also from watching the many competitors who do his races – which are now back up and running again with the appropriate Covid-19 restrictions, so well done to James and team!

I interviewed James as he helped on the eco-friendly ReRun Clothing stand with his friend Dan Lawson (of recent LeJog record-breaking fame) at the National Running Show 2019.
