What’s it like to be an unsponsored, self-funded athlete breaking FKT’s? (Jack Scott shares story)

Jack Scott recently broke Mike Hartley’s 32 year old record on the 214 mile Southern Upland Way in South Scotland. He’s a 26 year old unsponsored runner (er, not for too long me thinks!) who has also achieved FKTs (records) on the 188 mile Offa’s Dyke Path and the 135 mile Glyndwr Way in Wales.

In this live chat, Jack reveals what it takes to commit to such goals and be successful over such long distances as everything is self-organised and self-funded. And…what he aims to tackle next (some very exciting plans!).
