My film this week is a little bit different – it’s an interview with Franchesco from Vert.Run interviewing me about how to start trail running, training for trails if you don’t live near hills, the best cross-training, enjoying races and adventures, coming back to running after having an injury or a baby and loads of motivation to get outside this winter and have a lot of fun on the trails.
There are lots of great tips and bits of advice in this episode, but if you want more, there’s always my book, The Ultimate Trail Running Handbook with load more advice on gear, nutrition, injury, route planning and training plans from 5k to 50k.
This interview is also available as a podcast both from Wild Ginger Running and on Vert.Run’s new podcast Running Long, so do check out their podcast for tonnes more fantastic advice from awesome athletes like Ruth Croft, Lucy Bartholomew, Tom Evans and Pascal Egli.
